[Music] hi everyone tom larson here with tech training for teachers today were going to be talking about appointment schedules this is a new feature that just hit google calendar it replaces appointment slots were going to show you how to use it lets get started the first thing that we need to do is to enable this new feature so in the upper right hand corner look for the gear icon click it and then choose settings scroll down were in the general area at the very bottom youll see the option to create appointment schedules instead of appointment slots lets check this and then well come back to our calendar next switch from month view to either day or week ill choose week now at this point you need to already have in mind what your schedule is going to look like for me im going to choose the days monday one wednesday and friday and i want people to be able to book me starting at nine oclock in the morning till 12 have a break between 12 and one and then resume my appointments
