Hi everyone, Kevin here. Today weamp;#39;re going to learn the basics of HTML or what stands for hypertext markup language. I know that may not mean very much right now, but the thing to keep in mind is that itamp;#39;s the basic building block of the web. When you type in a website address, like letamp;#39;s say kevincookiecompany.com, the web server sends back an HTML file to your web browser, say Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, that tells your browser how to display the content on the page. In this video, weamp;#39;re going to build a very simple HTML page and youamp;#39;re welcome to follow along. Weamp;#39;ll go through this step-by-step and the great thing is you donamp;#39;t have to anything, you already have all the tools that you need. Weamp;#39;ll start with the basic HTML structure, what elements you have available. Weamp;#39;re not going to touch CSS or cascading style sheets, which defines the look and feel of the page. 2:30 8:44 Okay thats the letter. A im going to take my brush pen but you can take use your fine liner like iMoreOkay thats the letter. A im going to take my brush pen but you can take use your fine liner like i said. And lets add the shadow to this like this and like this.
Add a drop shadow to text Select the WordArt text you want to add a shadow to. Tip: In PowerPoint, you can also select text that isnt WordArt and apply a drop shadow to it. On the Shape Format tab, select Text Effects Shadow and then pick the shadow you want.
The text-shadow CSS property adds shadows to text. It accepts a comma-separated list of shadows to be applied to the text and any of its decorations . Each shadow is described by some combination of X and Y offsets from the element, blur radius, and color.
The most common way of coloring HTML text is by using hexadecimal color codes (Hex code for short). Simply add a style attribute to the text element you want to color a paragraph in the example below and use the color property with your Hex code.
You can achieve this with using text-stroke (creating the border around the text) and using text-shadow to set the correct offset for the color blue as shadow color. The color property should be set the same as the background-color property of the surrounding element to get the effect.
Text shadow refers to adding layers to the text, i.e., giving the text a shadow whether to enhance, highlight, or increase the visual appeal of specific text by giving the text depth.
A hexadecimal color is specified with: #RRGGBB, where the RR (red), GG (green) and BB (blue) hexadecimal integers specify the components of the color.
Select the picture, AutoShape, WordArt, or text box that you want to change. On the Format tab, click Text Effects or Shape Effects Shadow. To add a shadow, click the shadow style you want.
