hey whats up dave with brazos valley strength today were going to be talking about powerlifting meets and for the most part were going to be talking about a competitors first competition or at least one of their first few competitions so with that in mind there are going to be a few things that people asked me on instagram that are gonna be omitted here were not gonna be talking about weight cutting and and i think that that may be a good place to start is just peoples expectations and what they should be looking for in their first meet so weight cuts i think is probably one of the ones that pretty much everybody sees online from coaches like myself or other people when coaches are asked what people should do for their first competition i would say not cutting weight is probably one of the very highest things on that list but still even athletes that i coach are just convinced that they should cut weight for competition and i get it right its a sport and it kind of makes you fee
