follow up to our review of the sigma 60 to 600 yes you can trombone the front element by just grabbing it and sliding it as opposed to twisting it but I donamp;#39;t know why youamp;#39;d want to do this because there is no grip here for your hands and itamp;#39;s kind of small anyway I found twisting better yes you can put Sony teleconverters on it but they do not allow Communications with the lens so you probably would never want to do that because you canamp;#39;t autofocus which works better the 70-202 with the 2x teleconverter on it or the big Sigma this big Sigma is far sharper which is kind of what youamp;#39;d expect but Iamp;#39;ve been surprised before
