Finding your undertone: The colour of your veins Take a look at the veins on the inside of your wrist. Do they appear more blue or green? If your veins appear more blue, youre cool-toned but if you see more green, youre warm-toned. If you see a fair amount of both both green and blue, you have a neutral undertone.
Skin tone is all about how much pigmentation you have in your skin. For fair skin color Youre very fair, and burn easily. You most likely have light or red hair. For light skin color You have generally light-colored skin, but you have more yellow or beige undertones than fair skin.
Determining Your Skin Undertone The three undertones are: Cool - Characterized by a bluish undertone to the skin. Warm - A golden or peach-colored undertone. Neutral - A neutral undertone is neither cool nor warm.
Hold up a piece of white paper or a bright white T-shirt next to your face in natural light. If your skin looks slightly yellow against the white, you have a warm undertone. If your skin looks red and rosy up against the tee or paper, you most likely have cool skin undertones.
