Lean canvas gathers the meaning of the smallest solution that delivers customers value. It is usually divided into two sides. Left side, is mainly focused on a product, where the right side focuses on a market.
Channels. Channels are the ways in which the company communicates its offer to individual customer segments. In BMC, Channels are located between Value Propositions and Customer Segments. With this layout, you can match a specific value to a particular customer segment via an appropriate channel.
The Lean Canvas outlines a problem-focused approach and is divided into 2 parts with Unique Value Proposition in the center. The left side is focused on the product and the right side focuses on the market.
There are also nine essential sections in the Lean Canvas, each of which represents a crucial element of the business. These include problem, solution, key metrics, unique value proposition, unfair advantage, channels, customer segments, cost structure, and revenue streams.
Your Lean Canvas should outline how you will measure success. Key Metrics allow you to track and evaluate the success of a specific business process. A Key Metric could be daily visitors to your site, the number of company emails opened by consumers per hour or the monthly sales of a specific feature.
On the left, we map out the value proposition by asking: what is the product or service, and how does it create the gains the customer wants and soothe the pains they dont?
