hi my names Brad Cunningham today Im going to talk about how and why you would use a content presenter inside a control template in WPF so well start with a quick example Ive got a button on my form and thats it its inside a grid Ive got a height and a width set and I set the content to a string that just says click me now when I go to retain plet this button Im going to open up the button tag and Im going to change its template property so Im going to say button dot template and Im going to set it equal to a control template and as soon as I do that you can see that the visual disappears on my designer up top because Ive told WPF to replace the visual tree or the control template for my button with whatevers inside my control template tag which as of right now is blank so lets set that to be something instead of blank well set it to an ellipse and well go ahead and set a height and a width for now and were not looking at a template binding today so Im just going to g
