Do not invert QR Code Colors. We see this mistake a lot. QR codes with a black or dark background and a white or lighter foreground may look great in some design scenarios, but they cant be scanned with all QR Code scanner apps.

An inverted barcode is printed using white lines on a black background; basically, the reverse of a standard black-on-white barcode. Laser scanners are NOT able to read inverse barcodes. However, many 2D imaging scanners are able to read them easily.
Typically, a standard QR code consists of black squares on a white background. However, an inverted QR code switches this, making the squares white and the background black. As I am aware, the information encoded within the QR code remains the same. Magic Leap2 cannot read this kind of QR code at the moment.
Do QR codes have to be black and white? The more docHub the color difference between the background and the data modules (or dots), the easier it is to scan. Therefore, traditionally the best design for QR codes was the black-and-white color scheme since these two colors have the best contrast.
The simple answer is No. Mirroring a QR Codes or inverting it will prevent most barcode readers from being able to decode the image and extract any data from it.
