hi everyone its a beautiful Sunday and I thought Id welcome you to come out to Black Point Estate and Gardens in the back there its a beautiful home built in 1889 historic site on Lake Geneva about three years ago approximately 324 years ago they asked me to design a woodland garden and the woodland garden is about 14,000 15,000 square feet and I thought the best approach to this would be using native sedges so we planted about twelve to thirteen thousand carrots and we drifted them through the woods the woodland area under the Oaks and out here weve got a brief meadow so we have a transitional area where we have woodland edge transitioning into a meadow planting mostly composition of native and non-native plants and then within the sedges weve been incorporating ferns and some woodland plants as the budget allows so I thought we could take a short walk through here and see how the sedges are doing and also how some of the plants weve been incorporating into this garden have evo
