This video tutorial is part of a series on shading characters, focusing on painting skin. The process starts with creating separate layers for the base color and white parts of the eyes within a skin folder. Transparent pixels are locked, and shading begins with an opaque watercolor brush using a grayish color. Pressing harder and multiple times intensifies the color, while lighter pressure results in a more diluted shade. The layer for the white part of the eyes remains on top, with a new layer set to multiply for shading with solid colors using a mapping pen, choosing a dark grayish red for contrast according to the light source and shape.
