This can happen if the rollers are not spreading the paste correctly, if the individual film's pods do not contain enough developer paste to cover the photo, or, most likely: the developer paste has dried out and is not spreading as it should.
If your photos consistently come out overexposed, you may want to push the exposure compensation control towards black/darken. Polaroid film works best between 55 – 82°F (13 – 28°C). Below this range (e.g. in colder weather) your images may come out overexposed.
How to fix overexposed photos: Adjust aperture, shutter speed, and ISO settings. Use bracketing as you're taking your shots. Use exposure sliders in Lightroom or other post program.
It takes about 10-15 minutes for a coloured photo to emerge. While this is happening keep the picture somewhere warm and shield it from light until the photo has fully developed. You can keep it in your pocket or face down on a clean, dry surface. Remember, as tempting as it is, don't shake your polaroids!
This color i-Type film is compatible with the Polaroid Now, Polaroid Now+, the Polaroid Lab and more*.
The important difference between 600 and i-Type film is the absence of a battery inside the film cartridge. This means that i-Type film will not work with vintage Polaroid cameras. New Polaroid cameras have a built-in rechargeable battery, so they don't need a battery to power the camera.
Polaroid SX-70, 600 and i-Type film measures exactly 3.108 × 3.024 inches (photo area) and 4.233 x 3.483 inches (total area).
This is usually caused when the film door on the camera or printer has been opened after film has been loaded into the camera or printer. Instant film is light sensitive, so should only be exposed to light when a picture is taken, not before.
Make sure your favorite Polaroid camera is always ready to shoot with Polaroid Originals Color 600 Film. For use with Polaroid 600 or i-Type cameras, this pack of Polaroid 600 film includes eight instant color photos that will quickly develop within 10 to 15 minutes.
Overly light photo's generally mean it has been overexposed (too much light or too long an exposure). Check the door is closed fully and not leaking light on the film. Expired film may produce faded photo's too. I'd try a new pack of film, be careful when loading it, and see if the same photo results.
