Hi. Welcome to Pyrography Made Easy. Im Brenda. In this episode Im going to show you pyrography shading techniques to create uniform color and gradient color. Im also going to give you some tips to get better pyrography results. So lets first start with the tips. Tip number 1 Make sure your board is ultra smooth. This picture shows a piece of plywood The left segment of the board is un-sanded. The middle has been sanded one time. But the right side has been sanded, misted it with water allowed to dry and then sand it again. This gave me a very smooth or even ultra smooth board to work on. Now I was able to produce fairly uniform color on the un-sanded board, but it felt stiff or resistive to the pen tip. When I started burning on the middle portion, I immediately felt a huge difference. The pen glides over the wood surface with ease and the burn looks smoother. With the ultra smooth section of the board, I again noticed an improvement with how well the pen glided over the wood s

For Lennie, rabbits represent an escape from the obstacles he faces as a mentally-disabled man.
Lennie continues to talk about his rabbits, and she asks him why he likes animals so much. Lennie replies that he likes to touch soft things with his fingers.
He is obsessed with stroking soft things, such as animal fur. This starts with mice, which he kills, then leads to his puppy, which he also kills, before the tragic death of Curley's wife when he strokes her hair.
What scenes of death does Steinbeck describe in the beginning of Chapter 6 that parallel the events of the previous chapter and foreshadow the event to come? A water snake gliding in the pool is caught by a heron and eaten while its tail waves frantically, and a strong wind blows into the clearing and dies down.
In sharing his vision of what it means to be human, Steinbeck touches on several themes: the nature of dreams, the nature of loneliness, man's propensity for cruelty, powerlessness and economic injustices, and the uncertainty of the future.
In what ways do the events in chapter 6 bring the novel into a full circle? The events in chapter 6 bring the novel into a full circle as it goes from Lennie killing mice, to George warning Lennie that Curley's wife is trouble, to Curley's wife stirring the pot and getting herself killed.
Prominent Of Mice and Men themes include dreams, hopes, and plans as the characters strive to possess their own farm one day. The book also explores the concepts of innocence and weakness, and both of these aspects are intertwined in relation to Lennie.
Loneliness and Companionship Many of the characters admit to suffering from profound loneliness. George sets the tone for these confessions early in the novella when he reminds Lennie that the life of a ranch-hand is among the loneliest of lives.
Chapter 6 and Chapter 1 both begin in the clearing by the river. Steinbeck completes the circular nature of the novel by choosing this location. Lennie comes full circle, from killing a mouse to killing a human. In chapter one, the Garden of Eden-like clearing is idyllic and full of life.
The setting is around the river by the brush. It seems familiar because this was the setting at the beginning of the story. Why do you think Lennie visualizes Aunt Clara at this particular time? Lennie visualizes her because he feels guilty.
