hello there todays video is on Microsoft Word 2010 and its on paragraph shading so hopefully youve got a Word document open with some paragraphs of text in it I want you to select it by triple clicking on it with the left mouse button that will select the whole paragraph and on the Home tab in the paragraph group there is a button called shading if you mouse over it it will actually say shading and to the right of it theres a drop down menu and you can select various colors so pick a nice light color and then well draw a box around the text not around the text but a box of color on the text now this is very similar to the highlighting function highlighting function is available in the font group and if you choose a color you can see it highlights that font in yellow or in other colors as well one difference to notice is that theres a white space in between the lines and the fact that if you select the whole paragraph it doesnt draw a nice clean box around the text it leaves part
