Today Iamp;#39;m going to show you amp;#39;How to Change a Color to Any Color in Photoshop!amp;#39; So all we have to do is to create a Hue/Saturation Adjustment Layer. Now, inside of Hue/Saturation Adjustment Layer, you will see a amp;#39;Hand Tool.amp;#39; Right over there! See the hand tool? Right? All we need to do, click on that Hand Tool and click on her dress. All right? Take the Hue and the Saturation all the way to the right to see which color is being selected. Now, you need to expand the range so that all of her dress is nicely selected. Expand the range from here, and make the transition smoother. As you can see, there are some areas which are not selected properly. Maybe we might have to expand it even more, just like so. Make sure her skin is not affected. This is great! Now, you can bring the Saturation and the Hue back to 0. And then, you can work and choose any color you want! You can make it Red, Pink, whatever color you like! You can also work the Saturation if

Banding is a phenomenon that occurs when there are visible horizontal or vertical lines in an image. These lines can be seen as lighter or darker stripes that run across the photo. Banding is generally caused by uneven lighting, incorrect exposure settings, or compression artefacts.
JPEG images contain 24-bit RGB color information, which means they are comprised of colors from the true color space of millions of colors (see Chapter 3, Web Design Principles for Print Designers for a description of 24-bit color). JPEG files can also carry grayscale images.
What Causes Color Banding? Color banding results from an inaccurate representation of a color gradient in images. The main reason is insufficient information to display the tonal values in a photo, thus making the gradient less smooth.
Things like too much saturation, vibrancy and dehaze (in Lightroom) can push the limits of colors beyond what is mathematically possible. So the best way to avoid banding all together is to capture your shots as best as you can in-camera. This will negate having to push sliders to 100%.
The encoding process consists of several steps: The representation of the colors in the image is converted from RGB to YCBCR, consisting of one luma component (Y), representing brightness, and two chroma components, (CB and CR), representing color.

You could take photos in the highest quality, but if you compress them to JPEG files with a lower bit depth, you will likely have color banding showing up. When you compress an image to reduce its size, some colors are removed from the image and affect the gradual transition of color.
Color banding, or posterization is an ugly artifact that can be seen in digital images. Its most often visible in a gradient between two similar colors. Banding refers to the visible change from one color to another instead of a smooth, fading gradient.
