hi guys today im going to make a gradient logan letter u so first of all open it up illustrator and create a new artboard now go to type tool and write capital letter u go to selection tool select the letter press and hold alt and shift key together click and drag to make it bigger proportionally now increase stroke size go to object expand click on ok select the shape and expand it again right click ungroup it and then unite from pathfinder remove fill color and add stroke color now go to direct session tool and select the upper point of the shape click and drag inside to make it down from the top now go to pen tool and make curve like this roughly now go to selection tool and select the whole shape go to shape builder tool click and drag to make shape like this now press and hold alt key click and drag to remove these extra lines select the shape again and click on gradient now double click on the left hand side gradient slider and add appropriate color from the swatches and then do
