[Music] when i started drawing um my teacher made me do these senseless uh at that time i thought it was senseless exercises of cross-hatching just mindless cross-couching um dozens and dozens and dozens of big sheets of paper until at the end she said now draw me a sphere and selling everything just clicked as my control of pencil and paper and strokes was now so easy and so good that i could concentrate on what really mattered and that was values light volumes shadows texture all that stuff so and thats just a simple sphere i imagine you have to draw a whole body you have to worry about so many things like anatomy structure proportions perspective foreshortenings likeness all these things and if you have to put on top of that not being able to control your pencil and the lines that are coming out of your pencil and not the ones you intend to it will be extremely frustrating and very difficult for you to do what you want to do ive come up with these super fun exercises where we get
