a quick video showing you how to shade or highlight variances on chart and so I got thatif it here that s forecasted miles was old actuals and we could do is fit up two additional columns one Im gonna call my starting values and this is really just my forecasted amounts next were gonna be my actual variances and thats just the actual - the forecast and so I can do now is chart it using a line graph and I want to move this on to a new sheet and just modify this access a little bit just so its a lot smaller scale and now the starting values I want to change the series traffic for this one so its a stackable area chart and Im going to do the same thing for the variances and then for the starting values that I just format the data series and get rid of the fill color in here now so its clear and thats all its left is or the variances that are highlighted in purple and I can format the data series to change this from something else whether you dont want to color or gradient or text
