Im gonna be doing a brief tutorial today on shadowing like when people see the letters I do like this and the shadow I put on them and all Im using today is a papermate Flair pen and some cardstock if you want to know how to do these bubble style letters I have a previous lettering episode that talks about it and Ill have it linked right above there but this works on any kind of lettering that you can add a shadow to so the important thing when it comes to creating shadows on anything lettering or otherwise is to think about where the source of light is coming from so when youre doing something thats going to be shadowed like right like shes gonna write hi all right you want to shadow these letters you have to think about where this the shadows coming from no Im not saying draw a Sun on your picture cuz thats kind of ridiculous but you can if you want the visual aid I just suggest you do it maybe not on the final piece so think about where the suns coming from for example let
