this is an amazing simple solution to almost half the beginner blender problems that I get asked about let me show you how to fix it and why it might be happening so Iamp;#39;m in blender and Iamp;#39;ve got my default Cube selected here it looks innocent enough but this Cube has an odd secret if I go across to the modifiers add modifier and subdivision surface what the blaz is going on here well this Cube was harboring a secret and itamp;#39;s a problem that lots of beginners make when modeling their objects now this sort of problem an anomaly is usually down to face Direction or your normals thereamp;#39;s an easy way to find out if thatamp;#39;s your problem and to fix it we can go up to the overlays here click on the drop down and thereamp;#39;s face orientation here if I tick that anything in red is pointing the wrong way or weamp;#39;re seeing the back of the face so weamp;#39;re all blue around here but this one is red the fix for this is quite easy too we can go into ed
