never clean your pasta pens this way avoid cleaning your brush with just a paper towel all that will do is smudge the paint into your pen instead you need to remove your nib and wash it under a faucet to unclog the paint and the paint will come off your marker no problem now time for a very important tip dont dip your entire marker inside a cup of water theres a good chance paint will still be on your marker instead remove the nib from the pen drop the nib in some lukewarm water let it sit for about two or three minutes then dry off your nib and now your markers like new

This is the principle of subtractive color, or CMYK color, the process-color process used by printers. Cyan (blue-green), magenta (red-blue) and yellow (red-green) inks are used along with black (K, meaning Key color) to filter reflected white from the paper and produce all colors.
In CMYK printing, there are four color different plates, each printing a different color of ink: cyan, magenta, yellow, and black. These colors mix together to remove color from white light, producing the image you see.
In printing, there are two main color systems that are used in producing color in print, CMYK and PMS. CMYK, or four color process, is a subtractive color model which works by masking colors on a light background. PMS, or Pantone Matching System, is used for producing spot colors accurately.
In offset printing technology, the restoration of color of images is based on the principle of overlapping color separations, which correspond to 4 basic inks, including monochromatic colors in the CMYK color system. The color of images printed on paper that we perceive is a combination of subtraction and subtraction.
While offset printing, or modern lithography, has evolved docHubly since the 18th century, it still operates on one simple fact oil and water dont mix. During the offset printing process, the ink rollers on the printing press transfer from the image file directly onto a printing plate.
The reason offset printers use CMYK is that, in order to achieve color, each ink (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black) has to be applied separately, until they combine to form a full-color spectrum. By contrast, computer monitors create color using light, not ink.
This is called subtractive mixing. Color printing uses yellow, magenta, and cyan inks to produce various colors by subtractive mixing to give red, blue, and green. (Each color ink should be thought of as transmitting two of the additive primaries, which is the same as absorbing one of the additive primaries.)
