hey folks this is Mary welcome to day 21 of 30 blue inks 30 days today I decided to treat myself with a special ink that Ive been saving I dont know if you caught my video about the Kyra das catastrophe but I was feeling a little bruised and battered by my hobby so I wanted today I wanted today to be something extra special so the ink that I have been saving for a special occasion is kwz walk over Vistula this is an ink that I have admired online for a long time I think its so beautiful and I finally got a sample and Ive been working on my blue samples for you know going on two months now but I still havent used this one yet I was saving it for just the right occasion and today feels like that occasion I want to use my extra special ink and I have an extra special pen to use it in this is my pilot Falcon it has a gold nib and I only have a few gold nib pens and I never seem to bring them out and use them so I decided today that my special ink needed a special pen so I have this on

To thin down an ink thats too thick and not flowing add some distilled water (cold from a kettle) then give it a good stir and a shake. Add the water little by little, continually testing until its just right.

Water can be added to dry an ink because water has a very high surface tension. Ink manufacturers add surfactants to reduce that tension and permit the ink to flow. Adding half to one ml of distilled water to an evaporated bottle of ink is fine.
