Here is a general list of what one can usually expect to see. Ceremony space before guests arrive. Procession walking down the aisle. Groom standing at altar. Bride walking down aisle. Hugs with parents once the bride has walked down the aisle. Guest reactions. Exchanging vows. Exchanging rings.
Check the Bride and Grooms Feeds The couple should always post the first picture, so dont flood their social media pages or your own page with photos until they have had a chance to post their favorite photo and announce they are now married.
I would suggest that you introduce yourself to the photographer, tell him you are interested in learning/watching him work and then take your cues from there. If it were me, Id be more than happy to let you in on some stuff and get some shots for yourself.
A: Taken a few days, weeks, or months before the big day, bridal portraits are a way to feel comfortable in your outfit, and in front of the camera, without the wedding-day time restraints or nerves. In fact, bridal portraits are an age-old tradition thats made a comeback in recent years.
So what is the 30/5 rule? Its the rule that accounts for things that typically take 5 minutes in real life that will take 30 minutes on a wedding day. It also means that 30 minutes on a wedding day will feel like 5 minutes. You may have heard people say over and over that your wedding day will fly by.
Create 8 separate piles/folders: Immediate Family, Extended Family, Pre-Ceremony, Wedding Ceremony, After Ceremony, Reception, Details (pictures of flowers, dcor, location, etc) and Throw-Outs. Do a quick sorting process and place each of your photos into the designated category.
Before the ceremony: This is our favorite, but its out if you two dont want to see each other before the wedding. More and more couples choose to spend preceremony time alone, but this can also be a great chance to take family and wedding party pictures when everyone is excited and fresh.
So the best way to deal with organizing the images is to break them into smaller categories and then work with one folder at a time. We recommend doing this in the same order the wedding took place. Going by the folders chronologically ensures you do not miss out on any special photography moments.
