welcome ladies gentlemen so what i like to do is kind of show you how to um shade an inequality and basically when were looking into shading for an inequality uh the most most important thing that were going to be looking into is determining not only are the points on the line going to be a part of a solution but are the points above or below the line going to be a part of our solution because thats what really separates a linear inequality from a linear equation its not just the line but its points above and below that can also make your inequality true so when looking at this the first thing we look at is the boundary line which i go over in a separate video but basically as a job and you can see that whenever my equation is greater than or less than you can see that i am going to have a dashed line that means any of the points that lie on this line are not going to be a part of the solution over here i have greater than less than or equal to or if i had an equation greater than

Shade is a hue or mixture of pure colors to which only black is added. It contains no white or gray. Shade darkens the color, but the hue remains the same. When mixing a shade, begin with the color itself then add black one drop at a time.
Shade the appropriate region. Unless you are graphing a vertical line the sign of the inequality will let you know which half-plane to shade. If the symbol or is used, shade above the line. If the symbol or is used shade below the line.
In color theory, a tint is a mixture of a color with white, which increases lightness, while a shade is a mixture with black, which increases darkness.
Use the formula s = h/tan A to calculate shadow length. See the table below for an example. Sun angle calculators are available on the Web which will provide the sun angle (A) and azimuth angle for a given location based on the date and time. The azimuth angle is used to plot the shadow direction on the ground.
In color theory, a tint is a mixture of a color with white, which increases lightness, while a shade is a mixture with black, which increases darkness. Both processes affect the resulting color mixtures relative saturation. A tone is produced either by mixing a color with gray, or by both tinting and shading.
Hue: A pure pigment. Tone: A pure pigment with just grey added. Tint: A pure pigment with just white added. Shade: a pure pigment with just black added.
A tint is a hue of a color with white mixed into it. Tints are lighter than the original hue. A shade is a hue of a color with black mixed in. Shades are darker than the original hue.
Tints are light values that are made by mixing a color with white. For example, pink is a tint of red, and light blue is a tint of blue. Shades are dark values that are made by mixing a color with black. Maroon is a shade of red, and navy is a shade of blue.
