Choose Modify from the context menu. In the dialog that opens, select the Area tab and click the Colour button. At Colour - New select the desired colour via RGB or Hex value or via the Pick. Then click on the Add button at Custom Palette.
You can enter formulas in two ways, either directly into the cell itself, or at the input line. Either way, you need to start a formula with one of the following symbols: =, + or -. Starting with anything else causes the formula to be treated as if it were text.
Under LibreOffice, click Application Colors. Make sure the Field shadings box is checked and then select a color from the drop-down list to the right of the Field shadings option. Click OK when youre done. The field shading changes to the selected color.
In the Cell Style dialog, enter a name for the new Cell Style in the Organiser tab. In the Background tab, select the Colour button and choose the color you want, then click OK. In the Borders tab, select the Line Style, -Colour and -Width, then click the Set for all four borders icon at the top. Now click OK.
In the character Properties area, there is a button for More Options. Click that button and a window opens with additional options. There are three tabs, one of which is for font effects. You can add shadow to your text in that area.
The steps are: Create a style for every other row and call it Even rows. Make its background Gray 10%, or whatever other color and attributes you prefer. In your spreadsheet, select the range of rows youd like to format. In the Format menu, click Conditional Formatting. Choose Formula is in the first dropdown.
