hey friends i just really quickly wanted to go over um the matching numbers activity again um remember first of all that each colored number is going to have two colors represented on the board okay so green therell be two green boxes red therell be two red boxes um so really quickly if you are having a hard time shading in a box theres two ways you can do this you can either one click on the box so i know that 504 is this pink color so i can click on the box when i click in the box this little bar over here shows up and i just want to do a background color and make it pink all right thats one way of doing it another way of doing it if you dont have that option is you can just use a highlighter and so you just highlight the the number or the expanded form or written form or however its written and you go up here and its called highlight color you click on that and you press the color either way you can do that alright if you have any questions just let me know thank you and have

Use conditional formatting rules in Google Sheets On your computer, open a spreadsheet in Google Sheets. Select the cells you want to apply format rules to. Click Format. Conditional formatting. To do that you need to create a custom function using VBA that works like a COUNTIF function and returns the number of cells for the same color. You will follow the syntax: =CountFunction(CountColor, CountRange) and use it like other regular functions. Here CountColor is the color for which you want to count the cells.
=COUNTA is one of standard Google Sheets functions you pick to use with the colored cells. ligh green 3 is the cell color considered for the calculations, i.e. the background color of the pattern cell. is empty since I dont consider the font color of the pattern cell. B2:B18 is the range to check for colored cells.
