hello my friends and welcome to snap dudes today we will learn how to create editable gradient text in Illustrator so lets start with the tutorial ok Ill type in some random text shape editable gradient right Ill scale this up let me change the font to say yeah so now if we apply gradient to this text nothing will happen even though illustrators is showing that there is a gradient so what we can do now so all we have to do is just cancel out this gradient and you see that the text is there but its invisible so what we can do is go to appearance and then go to add a new film so what it will do is like it will change the color of the text to black yeah and now we can go to gradient and just click on it cool and now we can apply some colors lets say purple and so now if I change the text you will see that the gradient is applied to this text as well cool see you in the next one and dont forget to subscribe to our Channel
