Hi guys, Laura Berg here from My Smart Hands. Now today Im answering viewer questions and Ive actually gotten this question from quite a few people. Its how do you sign your name in sign language? Thats a great question because I know when I first started ASL I was wondering the same thing. Well everyone named Laura does not have the same sign name. So actually names are finger spelt - my name would be l a u r a and if youre talking about somebody like lets say Im talking about Bob I would say B O B and then I would kind of place him here this area, lets say. Then when Im talking to somebody I would just point to that area sort of referring to Bob. So I wouldnt have to constantly be signing Bob over and over again.
