okay were going to make video on how to darken the background of Engraving I get asked a lot how do you give it that black background so this is an Ed Brown pistol that we just finished up and you can see that the background is black on this one and not on this one so were gonna go to the process of what is the best thing to use to do this were gonna use offset printers ink that you can get from any local printer or you can buy it online its pretty nasty stuff theres nothing about this that is clean but the process of it is were gonna take this which you can see is really thick and were gonna getting a little bit out and were gonna cut with lighter fluid and start together were were gonna thin it just a little bit and were looking for the consistency of honey maybe just a little bit thinner were gonna wear gloves to do it once we smear it on there were gonna blot it with a piece of terry cloth to really push the ink down into the stippling in the background and then well
