when a samamp;#39;l document needs to prove the integrity of part of the content of that document it uses the XML standard way of signing the content which is known as an enveloped XML digital signature here is an example of the assertion portion of an SML response note that this is not the whole response just the assertion portion and we want to prove the integrity of this assertion so we will apply some algorithms to this block of characters we begin by applying the exclusive canonical algorithm this defines how to treat whitespace and divine characters and non utf-8 encoded characters among other things then we will hash that result in this example we will use the sha-1 algorithm this will produce this hexadecimal value which we will convert to base64 and then save for later use next we need to make some room to insert an enveloped signature and then add the blank signing information we can see that there are three elements shown in red that do not have values yet the first value t

In general terms shading is assignign tone values to parts of an image. In computer graphics that usually involves an algorithmic process which looks at surface geometry (shape) and light sources. Typically, this is the last stage of the computer pipeline and usually involves something called a shader.
Open the dependency POM and find the transitive dependency you want to exclude. Copy groupId and artifactId . In your project POM, underneath your active dependency, enter exclusions and using code completion paste the copied info of the dependency you want to exclude.
Shading is a process where a dependency is relocated to a different Java package and copied into the same JAR file as the code that relies on that dependency. The main purpose of shading is to avoid conflicts between the versions of dependencies used by a library and the versions used by the consumers of that library.
Shading a dependency consists of taking its content (resources files and Java class files) and renaming some of its packages before putting them in the same JAR file as the low-level Java REST client. Shading a JAR can be accomplished by 3rd-party plugins for Gradle and Maven.
The maven shade plugin is a versatile plugin that is used for packaging the artifacts in uber-jar, including all of its dependencies. It also provides the feature to rename the packages of some of its dependencies. We can create a single independent jar file containing everything necessary to run the project.
Step-by-step shading with Gradle Add the plugin. First we need to add the plugin we will be using. Configure the top-level dependency we want to shade. Add a dependency on the jar you wish to shade. Configure any transitive dependencies we dont want to shade. Set up the packages we want to relocate. Publish our shaded jar.
This plugin provides the capability to package the artifact in an uber-jar, including its dependencies and to shade - i.e. rename - the packages of some of the dependencies.
