hello everyone this is inma and this is the second video of this new shading characters series on this video we will learn how to paint skin going from easy solid shadows to a more detailed look in very simple steps lets begin i have a folder for the skin with two layers inside one is for the base color and the other is for the white part of the eyes i will lock the transparent pixels for that layer and i will shade that first using the opaque watercolor brush and a grayish color with this brush the harder you press and the more you insist on a specific spot the more color is applied if you press lightly the color will be more dilute [Music] the layer for the white part of the eyes will be kept on top inside the skin folder so i create a new layer right under it i set the blending mode of my new layer to multiply and i start shading with solid colors using mapping pen i choose a grayish red thats dark enough to make a good contrast when shading i take the light source and the shape o
