in this video Im gonna show you how to create this really quick reactive lighting and dynamic shadows in After Effects with just a couple of effects [Music] Ive been playing lower shadows recently and thought Id share this really quick effect and this cant win just got three layers weve got that background weve got these great squares on a shape layer and then weve got our light source which is a circle that Ive applied some glows to so first lets animate the position of our light with the layer selected lets press p on our keyboard key frame its position of the start lets move this all the way over to the left maybe slightly off screen and then at three seconds lets move this all the way to the right so now our light is traveling between squares for our active shadows we only need to apply three effects to our square layer or the layer that you want to cast shadows so first lets add the effect fill and lets change this color to a really dark red almost black and this i
