The area of the shaded sector of the circle is A = ( / 2) r2 where is in radians or ( / 360) r2 where is in degrees.

The Area of the shaded region = (Area of the largest circle) (Area of the circle with radius 3) (Area of the circle with radius 2). Whatever is left over is the shaded region. The diameter of the largest circle is 10, so its radius is 5 and thus its area is 25.
The area of the shaded region is the difference between the area of the entire polygon and the area of the unshaded part inside the polygon. The area of the shaded part can occur in two ways in polygons. The shaded region can be located at the center of a polygon or the sides of the polygon.
1:29 3:14 Now we must find the combined area of both circles and subtract that answer from 200 to find theMoreNow we must find the combined area of both circles and subtract that answer from 200 to find the area of one circle is found by multiplying pi times the radius to the second.
In your first circle, begin by lightly drawing horizontal lines or hatching from the left side of the circle to a little past the middle. Continue doing this, adding continuously shorter horizontal lines along the left side of your circle. When you feel that the circle is well shaded, stop and erase any stray marks.
