okay so heres how you adjust the background color of a chart in Google Docs or Google sheets so right now Im looking at my chart in Google Docs Im gonna click on it and go to these linked chart options I want to open the source and this kicks me out to the Google sheets where Google actually stores my data and the chart itself and to change the background color I want to double click on my chart so the chart editor pops up I want to make sure mine customized not set up but customize and then I want to go to chart style from here I can adjust the background color lets say I want to make it a nice little bit of light blue here and then that changes it here in Google sheets I go back to Google Docs I click on update and voila I have changed the background color a couple things before you click away if you found this video helpful if it answered the question that you have please give me a thumbs up what that does is it allows YouTube to continue recommending this video to other people
