hello today Im going to show you my coloring process from beginning to end Ive had a few people ask me yeah I want to preference this was saying Im completely self-taught and Im not super educated in color theory and all of that but I have a process and people want to know I made a line art for this but its just some random person so I dont know what the color scheme is going to be yet but well figure it out basically the first step is to make sure your line art has all closed lines theres no gaps because the way I like to do my flats is the selection tool Ill select outside the line art all these spaces outside and then select inverse so it selects everything inside the line art and then a layer under it Ill just put like usually the skin tone um underneath and thats a really quick way to get flat and then on a layer above that I do a clipping mask so I just alt click between the layers and itll clip the layer on top so then if I pick any color and itll just stay only on
