the settlement agreement one is more of a narrative um traditional settlement agreement the other one is using the actual court forms like the 180 343 spousal order 345 property order Etc um I like to use the forms because I think its easier for my clients to read through it and understand it theres not a lot of legal mumbo jumbo in there like there is with the settlement agreement narrative type case uh settlement agreements um but some counties they dont look at it that way where the com combination of the forms make up the settlement agreement theyll reject it and so I havent for certain counties I dont use the forms at all I use a straight up marital settlement agreement narrative and Al Alam county is one of those counties that wants it in that format so one of the benefits of us handling so many cases throughout California for the last 12 years is that we know what the individual courts want and even individual clerks within the court um have little specific uh criteria
