hey there in this video Im going to show you how to set your word documents so they open a Microsoft Word versus another program so right now you see that my test file here if I open it its gonna open up my word document in text format now yours may be set to another program like Excel or some other random program but its the same process what you want to do is right click and go to properties you can see it opens with notepad we want to change that so click on change and then you can see from this list of options the programs we can choose now word is an option for me and that makes it really easy so all I have to do is click on word and click OK you however may not see that option but its easy to get that option so what you want to do is click on look for another app on this PC and then you can navigate to where the word program is located now can be a little tricky to find if you dont know where to click so let me show you the easy way to find the file path for that go to your
