hi there caneta flow here this video is an instructional video in response to one of my recent posts where I recommended that you hyperlink your email address and your Linkedin URL in your resume to make it much easier for recruiters and hiring managers to get in touch with you so Im just gonna show you how to do it its really really easy and when I said do you have 30 seconds really thats what I meant so we have Michael Scotts header of his resume here were gonna include his email address so if we left it and did nothing it would just be text that would mean that for someone to get in touch with Michael they would have to copy and paste his email address into their email system but in this case were gonna make it really really easy for someone and all we have to do is hit space and space will hyperlink it and we can tell by hovering over his email address and you can see mail to Michael Scott at dunder-mifflin com so if I were to click ctrl click on this it would take me to my e

Open a PDF that contains a PDF file attachment. Go to where you want to create a link. If the location is in the file attachment, select the Attachments file option in the Edit panel and add the file attachment. Choose Edit Link Add or edit a link, and select the area for the link.
If you do choose to include a link on your resume, provide the entire link (for example: LinkedIn.com/in/KyleCromerElliott), rather than an abbreviation (for example: LinkedIn Profile), as many ATS will convert the contents of your document into plain text.
How To Include Links On Your Resume? Review your online profiles. Include professional links. Customise your links. Organise your links. Choose URLs over hyperlinks. Add email and certification links. Relate them to the job description. Provide links to your reference contacts.
Add a new section to your resume titled Certifications or Professional Development. List the name of the certificate and the name of the issuing organization. Include the direct URL to your certificate next to the name of the certificate. You can also use a hyperlink to make the URL clickable.
Consistently formatting the links on your resume makes them easier to identify and access. Then, when you convert your resume to an actual clickable online document, turn each URL into a working hyperlink. Just highlight the URL, click the hyperlink button in your word processor toolbar, and the link will become live.
