hello and welcome to another glyph screencast tutorial for ysd n300 three typeface design todays tutorial is going to be on exporting and testing your typeface file now in regards to testing well have talked about this in class and this is going to be just kind of a demonstration of a how to so I wont get into too much of the theory of how do you test your font that will be included in the lecture that will correspond to this video so remember that it includes things like wanting to be able to export your font so that you can test it in InDesign so that you can test it in a browser or in some kind of context and Im gonna cover the two techniques that Ill mainly talk about in class and that is one is testing out your variable font in InDesign so that your instances are showing up and so that you can use it as a static font in that platform remember InDesign as of the recording of this video does not have an implementation for variable fonts so that means you cant actually use the
