Hello and thank you for joining this quick getting started video. In this video, we are going to learn two different ways to create an email template in Lightning Experience. Please keep in mind that in order to follow these steps, youll need system administrator permissions. If youre interested in creating email templates in your organization, but dont have those permissions, please contact your system administrator for assistance. So the first way to create a template is by composing an email. So were going to go to our Contacts, click on a contact here, and then Email, and just start composing. So were going to get the subject, were going to tell our customer thank you. Going to add a merge field here. Now, you can scroll or you can also just filter. Were going to grab the First Name. How to Change Themes in Salesforce In todays video, were going to show you how to change themes in Salesforce. Navigate to Setup. In the Quick Find Box, type and select Themes and Branding. In this menu, youll see all of the themes you can choose from. Enter a title, name, and description for your new theme.

Under Brand Color, click the color menu. To use a default color, click the color on the palette. To use a custom color, click Custom. To view the range of color that you want, move the slider thats below the color field (1). To select the specific hue, click in the color field.
Click the down arrow option next to the theme title. Select Edit. Change the theme name and background color for the theme. If the theme has been duplicated, does not have a lock icon, or is a custom theme, click Delete to delete the theme.
