Today, were going to be looking at how to create theme settings by adding a custom social media icon to a themes set of social icons, which you generally see in the footer of a store, and that link out to a merchants social channels. So even if you dont need to expand your clients set of social icons, this is still a great use case to demonstrate, firstly, how theme settings are configured on various theme files, and secondly, how liquid objects, tags and filters work together to render content thats generated or added by a merchant on the online store editor. So before we kick this tutorial off, I just want to show you an example of what this will look like as a finished result when we are working through this tutorial. And so basically well be creating a new setting that will be accessible from the online store editor that will allow you to add a new icon and a new link to the footer of yo
