hi guys welcome to this video series on texturing terrain using substance painter and what were going to do is were going to look at one approach we can take to adding some texture maps to our terrain and for this were going to use docHub substance painter uh for creating these textures but it also gives us the opportunity to introduce some new and interesting concepts such as udim coordinates to ensure that weve got enough detail in our large surface uh terrain without too much pixelation and loss in quality um itll also give us the opportunity to look at some ways in which we can extract data from our high polygonal high density volume terrain and transfer that or bake that down onto our polygonal objects as well for render time so lets jump straight in with im going to skip over this because weve been over this in class lets just talk a little bit about you dims because this is what were going to be setting up in this video okay so uv coordinates youre probably used to wo
