Id suggest having a look at the video before watching this one if you need to get up to speed, but at the end of the last one we promised we talked about how these tables were created. Now the log tables we were looking at were in base 10, all numbers were sort of converted to a power of 10, but thats not how the first tables were created; thats what were going to explain now. Its some pretty hardcore number crunching at times but it is amazing to think all those years ago people were doing that kind of work to pave the way for the scientists and mathematicians in the years to come.
