[Music] in this video were going to take a look at using filters and generators to create more complex materials so now were going to pick up where we left off in part one and im going to continue working on this color zero one layer group so what id like to do is to create an edgewear effect and right now what we have is this single layer and were working on what is going to represent a metal material and so this layer represents the painted coating layer and so let me just rename this layer so it makes more sense so im going to call this paint coating and then what im going to do here from my shelf on the materials im going to do a search ill type in iron and we have this material preset im going to use called iron galvanized so im going to left click and drag and drop this here to the color 0 1 layer group and you can see that ive placed this above the paint coating so now here in the properties im going to set a few of these settings so for the metal color if i click t

Where are substance painter export settings stored?

Presets are saved on the disk as individual files and can be shared with any other user of Substance 3D Painter. These presets are located in the shelf under the folder export-presets , which is located here: Windows : C:\Users\*username*\Documents\Substance 3D Painter\shelf\export-presets.

How do I export a UV map from a substance?

To export the map, just press A to select all, and then go to the UVs menu and choose Export UV Layout. Ill browse to where Id like to put it, give it a name, bottle UVs and click Export UV Layout. Now in docHub Photoshop, Ill go to file, open and open that image up.

How do you switch between texture sets in substance painter?

To access the Texture Set Reassignment window go into the Texture Set list window and choose Settings Reassign Texture Sets. The window is divided in three sections : Disabled Texture Sets : List all the Texture Sets that are currently unused.
