Soak the Stain Pour a cup or two of white vinegar in a small bowl, then submerge the stain in the vinegar. Allow the stain to sit and soak for 30 minutes.
For this you can either fill a container with enough vinegar to completely cover the stain, and place the item in to soak, or, you can mix several tablespoons of white vinegar and your favorite laundry detergent in a bucket of water and soak the stain overnight.
Distilled white vinegar is actually one of the best stain removers we have been given from nature. Found in invariably every household, it is mildly acidic, so acetic vinegar removes the tough spots and blotches without ruining the fabric of your clothes.
Dried stains should be soaked in cold water (with detergent applied) for about 30 minutes. Then, rinse the stain. Yet another trick is to treat wet tea stains with a generous amount of baking soda. Ideally, the powder will pull the color out of the clothing!

Won't stain clothing Vinegar doesn't usually stain clothes, but it is acidic, so you shouldn't pour it directly onto clothing without first diluting it. If you don't have a laundry detergent compartment in your washing machine, mix 1/2 cup of vinegar with a cup of water before pouring it onto your clothing.
Vinegar and Baking Soda Are a Better Stain Remover than Bleach.
For dried stains, pretreat or soak in warm water with a product containing enzymes, then launder. These types of laundry products are often recommended for protein-based stains, such as blood. Check the labels for this ingredient, as most enzyme products will promote their ability to remove these stains.
Here are few pre-treating methods for tough stains you can remove with vinegar: Coffee/tea Stain – soak in solution of 1/3 vinegar to 2/3 water. Grass stain- soak in undiluted vinegar for 30 mins. Gum stain- soak in undiluted vinegar for 15 mins. Juice stain- soak in 1/3 vinegar and 2/3 water.
