we begin with President Biden set to sign a bill to avert a rail strike that could have devastated the economy the legislation forces a labor deal that some rail unions had rejected ABCs Jay OBrien joins me live from Capitol Hill with more on that Jay whats the latest here yeah Diane President Biden is going to sign that bill today the White House just releasing that is going to give remarks and sign it into law once he does that it would force those rail workers back onto the job what happened was that Congress essentially approved this agreement going around the rail workers so the rail workers didnt have to give their say so they didnt have to sign on to this and instead the house passes it earlier this week the Senate passes it yesterday 80-15 and then of course it goes to the presidents desk he signs that this is not a position that the White House wanted to be and to force rail workers back onto the job without their say so but nonetheless is the position that the president
