So when you want to get beyond the very basics in Numbers you want to understand how Sheets and Tables work. Lets create a blank Numbers document here. What its going to do for us is create a default sheet and in there a default table. Lets backup a bit. A Numbers file is simply called a Document. Its the same for most things on the Mac. A Pages document. A Keynote document. And you have a Numbers document. If youre used to using Microsoft Excel then a file is also called a document but its also commonly called a Workbook. You dont really call a Numbers documents workbooks. You just call them documents. Now inside each document you have one or more

Set paper size and orientation in Pages on Mac In the Document sidebar, click the Document tab at the top. Select a page orientation (portrait or landscape). You can use only one page orientation for your document. Pages doesnt support a mix of pages in portrait and landscape in the same document.
Option 2: Scale to paper size and print using Microsoft Word Open document in Microsoft Word. Select File Print Choose 1 Page Per Sheet Scale to Paper Size Select Letter 8.5 x 11. This will scale the entire document, regardless of its original size, to fit on an 8.5 x 11 page when its printed.
Adjust Page Orientation To switch from Portrait to Landscape, select the Document icon in the upper right. The menu on the right panel will change. Within the Document tab, select the landscape icon within Page Orientation.
In the Page Setup section click on the icon at the bottom right corner of the section. This will open the Page Setup box. Click on the Layout tab.
Open the Pages panel and click +. Under pages, click Page layouts, then select the layout type you want, like About or Contact.
Place your cursor at the beginning of the page that you want to move, hold the shift key and press page down. Press Control + X to cut the text block and move your cursor to the new placement and press Control + V to move the page to its new location.
Open the Pages panel and click +. Under pages, click Page layouts, then select the layout type you want, like About or Contact.
Choose File Convert to Page Layout (from the File menu at the top of your computer screen). Click Document in the toolbar, click the Document tab, then deselect the Document Body checkbox.
Use different orientations in the same document Select the pages or paragraphs whose orientation you want to change. Click PAGE LAYOUT Page Setup dialog box launcher. In the Page Setup box, under Orientation, click Portrait or Landscape.
