Hello friends, The Teacher here and welcome to another tutorial of Word 2016. In this video, we are going to learn about Aligning and Arranging Shapes, Pictures, Word Art and Text Boxes. If you are beginner, then you can first watch our video about How to work with Shapes and Drawing Tools. Lets start by drawing a single shape first. So, we move to the Insert menu and then draw a rectangle. Keep in mind that you will only see the Format menu, if the shape is selected. If you click inside the page or deselect the shape, then instantly Format menu will get disappear. It is important to note because Align and Arrange options are available in the Format menu. However, you can also access Align options from the layout tab, but if none shape is selected then all the options will remain disabled. If you click the Align drop down button, you will find here several alignment options that can be applied to a single or multiple objects. First, we will explorer the top 6 alignment options but

To add shape effects: Select the shape you want to change. On the Format tab, click the Shape Effects drop-down arrow. In the menu that appears, hover the mouse over the style of effect you want to add, then select the desired preset effect. The shape will appear with the selected effect.

Click on the Advanced button. Click on the Picture Position tab. Under both the Horizontal and Vertical selections, select Absolute Position, and pick "Page" from the drop-down menu at the right. Also, click on the checkbox that says "Lock anchor." Now, your pictures won't move around the page.
So onward to my solution using the new feature “Transform“. Here's how it works. With your Word document open: On the File tab in Word, go to Transform > Transform to Web Page.
With the text box selected, choose Text Box>Position>More Layout Options and check the Lock anchor option.
