Hi. This is Marty from Blue Lightning TV. Im going to show you how to create the look of a wax seal with raised text and how to quickly change its color. This is an update of a tutorial I did quite awhile ago on an earlier version of Photoshop. I provided this envelope image that you can download to place your wax seal onto. Its link is located in my videos description or project files below. Click the New Layer icon to make a new layer. Open your Elliptical Marquee Tool and go to the center of your document. Press and hold Alt or Option + Shift as you drag out a circular selection approximately this size. Click your foreground color to open the Color Picker. Pick a rich color for your seal. Later, Ill show you how we can easily change its color. Now, your foreground color is the color you just picked. Fill the selection with your foreground color by pressing Alt or Option + Delete.
