All right, lets talk about how you can set a default record type for your users. So if I can create multiple types of accounts, Salesforce will ask me which type do I want to pick before I even create the record. Now, if Im always creating the same type over and over and over again, I might want to just bypass that menu of options in the beginning. And I can do that by going into my personal settings and going into this Default Record Type area. And if I, as an individual user check the box next to one of these objects, it wont ask me anymore when I create an account, it will just create whatever the default record type is for my users profile. So now that Ive checked that box, Im just going to automatically create the new record with whatever record type is defaulted from my profile. So how did that work?
