Click the Create Contract button to from the object to create a contract. When creating a contract, you can define a contract start date and contract term, which determine the contract end date. Click the Update Contracts button to update or create contract line items and create a new contract document attachment.
Search for Create Contract from Quick Find. Drag Create Contract action into the Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions section, and then place the action where you want it to appear on the objects page. Save your changes. Repeat these steps for the Update Contracts action button.
After all the parties agree on the contract, you can import the contract document as a Word or PDF file. On the Contract record details page, from Select template, select a template to generate the document. Click Generate Document.
Enable a Contracts Chatter Feed From Setup, enter Feed Tracking in the Quick Find box, then select Feed Tracking. From the list of objects, select Contract. Select the Enable Feed Tracking checkbox and then the checkboxes for the fields that you want to track. Save your changes.

Create Contract Record Type From Setup, click Object Manager. Type Contract in the Quick Find box. Click Contract and then click Record Types. Click New. Enter these details: Click Next. Select Contract Layout in Apply one layout to all profiles. Save your changes.
Click your avatar icon and then click Settings. Click Display Layout, and then select Set Default Record Type. Select Default Visit. Save your changes.
